- The 2004 season was a
disappointing year for the Blue Jays right from the
beginning. They started the season 0-8 at
Skydome and never started a lengthy winning streak.
Much of that is due to the injuries of All-Stars Carlos
Delgado, Vernon Wells and Roy Halladay among others.
Carlos Delgado's gone, but there's a new man in the
middle of Toronto's batting order...Corey
Koskie. As the 2005 season approaches,
The Jays are still looking for a mid-level
starter and at least one more power bat. Nobody expects Koskie to fully replace Delgado's production -- the Jays
will have to compensate with help in other areas.
