The
Atlanta
Falcons
became the 15th team in the NFL when they began
playing in 1966. The early years were a
struggle as the Atlanta
Falcons won just six games
in their first three seasons and fan
support declined. One couldn't give away
Atlanta
Falcons tickets. The Atlanta Falcons reached the playoffs just six
times in their history.
The closest the Falcons came to NFL glory was
in 1999 when the Atlanta Falcons
went on a Cinderella run to the Super
Bowl before bowing to the
Denver Broncos and John Elway 34 to 19.

Today, GM Rich McKay and his
staff are building a formidable powerhouse in the
ATL. All Pro defensive end John Abraham, Lawyer
Malloy, and Chris Crocker were brought in via free
agency to shore up a once porous Falcon defense.
Jimmy Williams, a hard hitting cornerback from
Virginia Tech, was acquired in the recent NFL draft
and may be a potential starter this year.
The Atlanta Falcons
tickets are now one of the premier NFL tickets in the
