- The
Browns were
formed in 1946 and played in Cleveland until 1995 when owner Art
Modell announced he was moving his team to Baltimore to become
the Ravens. However, the city of Cleveland and the NFL struck a
deal to return the Browns to the playing field in 1999 and they
did so as an expansion team under new owner Al Lerner. In 2002,
the
Cleveland
Browns reached the playoffs for the first time since the
1994 campaign. They took a backward step in 2003, winning just
five games.

Since the mid-1980's the
loud rockus crowd at Browns games became known as "The Dawg
Pound". Fans come to Browns games wearing dog masks,
barking and occasionally throwing dog biscuits at opposing
players. Don't miss your chance
