Mount
Vintage Golf Club - North
Augusta, SC
Mount Vintage Plantation Golf Club successfully opened April 2000
and is located 18 minutes from the Augusta National. Mother Nature
provided the perfect setting and Tom Jackson designed 18 picturesque
holes that fit perfectly into this diverse topography. The course
has beautifully contoured bent grass greens built to USGA specifications,
hybrid Bermuda tees, and well-groomed fairways. Mount Vintage has
the most dramatic, yet impressive stacked stonewalls and bridges one
will ever see on a golf venue. The course opened with rave reviews
and has hosted the LPGA tour event in 2001, 2002, 2003 and in 2004.
Jones
Creek Evans,
GA
Built in 1986 and designed by Rees Jones, this long, hilly, 18 hole,
Semi-Private course features many trees, doglegs and bunkers. In 2003
the putting surfaces were refurbished and changed from the original
bent grass to Tifeagle Bermuda which is much more suitable to the
climate in the area. Golfers face narrow fairways that feature Bermuda
turf and greens that will challenge the best of nerves.
The
Reserve Club at Woodside Plantation
Aiken,
SC
In December 2003, Golf Digest magazine selected The Reserve Club
as one of the Top Ten in America's Best New private courses. The
Nicklaus design offers subtle greens and strategic bunkers are complimented
by generous width fairways lined by towering oaks and loblolly pines,
winding through natural wetlands and dramatic elevation changes.
The River Club North
Augusta, SC
Designed by internationally acclaimed golf course architect Jim
Fazio, The River Golf Club offers a unique setting which includes
large bent grass greens, numerous lakes, wetlands and dramatic bunkers.
